Esports Set to Begin Postseason Play

RICHMOND, Ind. -- The IU East Esports team had its most successful season in school-history this semester. 

Head coach Andrew Britt announced five teams making postseason tournaments, including Rocket League, NBA2K, Fortnite Build and No-Build, and Super Smash Bros. 

Kicking it off tonight, March 24 at 8 p.m. is Super Smash Bros. They will take on Siena College. 

Tuesday, March 25, two teams will be playing at the same time, with NBA2K taking on Huntington College and semifinals in Fortnite No-Build. 

The IU East Rocket League team finished near the top of the standings and earned a First-Round Bye. 

Lastly, on Thursday, the Fortnite Builds team will be in the semifinals.
