Men's Golf: IU East at LTU Shootout Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's golf team takes part in the Lawrence Tech University Shootout at the Players Club at Woodland Trails in Yorktown on April 13-14.

There will be two rounds on Monday with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

The final 18-holes are scheduled for Tuesday.

IU East's lineup is Sam Firebaugh, Noah Mulford, Landon True, Dare Bowles and Kylan Nash with Ryan Craig playing as an individual.

In addition to the Red Wolves and the host school from Michigan, the other teams participating will be Aquinas College, Bethel University, Cleary University, Defiance College, Holy Cross College, Indiana Tech, IU Kokomo, Madonna University, Siena Heights University and the University of Rio Grande.

Results for the tournament will be on Leaderboard King and Clippd.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

* Firebaugh finished second with a 74-72-74-220 in the Hampton Farms Intercollegiate at Beechwood Country Club last week in Ahoskie, North Carolina.

* As a team, the Red Wolves carded a 311-303-302-916 as they finished tied for sixth in the nine-team event.

* The other IU East scores were Mulford (79-74-74-227, T15th), True (74-80-77-231, T27th), Bowles (84-77-77-238, T44th) and Nash (87-86-83-256, 61st).
