Men's Golf: RSC Championships Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's golf team travels to West Virginia for the River States Conference Championships on April 26-28.

The three-day, 54-hole event takes place at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels getting underway on Sunday, April 26.

IU East's tee times for the first round are Nick Brubaker (10:50 a.m.), Dare Bowles (11 a.m.), Landon True (11:10 a.m.), Noah Mulford (11:20 a.m.) and Sam Firebaugh (11:30 a.m.) with Braden Tedder serving as the alternate.

* The Red Wolves are coming off a third-place finish at the Sagamore Shootout on Monday, April 20.

* Mulford had a score of 70-74-144 to make the Sagamore all-tournament team as he tied for fourth.

* Tedder was named the RSC Golfer of the Week after winning a playoff to earn medalist honors at the Earlham College Spring Shootout with a 76-71-147 on Sunday, April 19.

* Results from the RSC Fall Preview are part of the selection process for the league's all-conference team and player of the year.

* The Red Wolves were third in last fall's preview as Firebaugh tied for second with a score of 66-77-143.

* Last spring, IU East finished fifth in the RSC Championships.
