Men's Soccer: IU Columbus and Brescia Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's soccer team will play a pair of River States Conference contests this week.

First up is a trip to IU Columbus on Thursday, Oct. 9. The contest in the Richard J. Wigh Soccer Center starts at 7 p.m.

The Red Wolves will celebrate Senior Day at Eaton High School against Brescia University on Saturday, Oct. 11. That match gets underway at 4:30 p.m.

IU East is 3-7-1 overall and 1-2 in the conference after a 2-1 loss to Shawnee State University last weekend.

IU Columbus is 4-6-1 and 1-2. The Crimson Pride lost 2-1 at WVU Tech on Oct. 4.

Brescia is 2-7-2 and 1-2 as the Bearcats entertain WVU Tech on Thursday night.

* IU Columbus defeated Brescia 1-0 on Oct. 2.

* After falling to IU Columbus, Brescia lost 3-1 to the University of Rio Grande last week.
