Men's Soccer: Brescia 3, IU East 1

EATON, Ohio - The Indiana University East men's soccer team fell 3-1 in a River States Conference match with Brescia University on Saturday, Oct. 11.

Prior to the contest, the Red Wolves celebrated Senior Day as Zion Griffis, Joseph Rivera and Zach White were recognized at Eaton High School.

IU East is now 3-9-1 overall and 1-4 in the RSC, while Brescia is 3-8-2 and 2-3.

Brescia grabbed an early advantage with a pair of goals in the opening half at the 15:13 and 17:16 marks.

In the second period, the Bearcats scored at 73:33 before the Red Wolves got on the scoreboard.

White found the back of the net for IU East at 80:55 with Levi Griffis assisting on the play.

Next up for the Red Wolves is a trip to St. Mary-of-the-Woods College on Saturday, Oct. 18. The match starts at 3:30 p.m.
