Men's Soccer: Weekend Preview
RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's soccer team visits a pair of River States Conference foes this weekend.
First up for the Red Wolves is WVU Tech on Thursday, Oct. 23. The match in the Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex starts at 5 p.m. IU East finishes the weekend at the University of Rio Grande on Saturday, Oct. 25. The opener of a doubleheader at the Evan Davis Soccer Field gets underway at 1 p.m.
The Red Wolves are 3-9-1 overall and 1-4 in the conference.
IU East's last contest was scoreless at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College when it was suspended due to weather in the second half on Saturday, Oct. 18. That match is scheduled to resume at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Monday, Oct. 27.
With nine straight victories, WVU Tech is 11-0-2 with a 6-0 mark in the league after 4-1 win over Rio Grande last Thursday.
Rio Grande is 6-4-3 and 4-1 as the RedStorm travels to Shawnee State University on Thursday.
