Men's Soccer: WVU Tech 8, IU East 0

BECKLEY, W. Va. - The Indiana University East men's soccer team fell 8-0 to River States Conference leader WVU Tech on Thursday, Oct. 23.

The Golden Bears scored six times in the opening period on the way to the win in the Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex.

IU East is now 3-10-1 overall and 1-5 in the conference. WVU Tech remains undefeated in the league at 7-0 with an overall record of 12-0-2.

Next up for IU East is a trip to the University of Rio Grande on Saturday, Oct. 25. The contest at the Evan Davis Soccer Field is scheduled for 1 p.m.
