Men's Soccer: SMWC 3, IU East 1

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's soccer team fell 3-1 as the Red Wolves resumed their River States Conference match against St. Mary-of-the-Woods College on Monday, Oct. 27.

The Red Wolves are 3-12-1 overall and 1-7 in the conference. SMWC is 6-9-1, 4-2-1.

Jaiden Earls tied the affair at 1-1 for the Red Wolves with an unassisted goal with 82:16 on the clock at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Varsity Soccer Field where the final 21:33 would be played. However, SMWC scored two more times to get the win.

The Pomeroys got the scoring underway at the 75:07 mark in the second period after the two teams picked up at 68:27 where the contest was stopped at SMWC because of weather on Saturday, Oct. 18.

IU East ends the regular season at Midway University on Saturday, Nov. 1. The contest starts at 3:30 p.m.
