Red Wolves Drop Tight Battle against IU Southeast

NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The Red Wolves men's tennis team dropped a 4-3 battle against IU Southeast on Sunday.

 

IU East captured three singles matches but were unable to grab the doubles point, giving the Grenadiers the win.

 

Francisco Faundez and Sebastian Torrealba won their No. 1 Doubles match 7-5. IU Southeast was able to grab the point however with a 6-4 win at No. 2 Doubles and 6-1 win in the No. 3 position.

 

Faundez kept the momentum going for himself with a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 1 Singles. Torrealba coasted with a 6-2, 6-2 No. 2 Singles match and Matthew Nel won his No. 3 Singles 7-5, 6-3. The Grenadiers grabbed the last three singles matches and the win.

 

The Red Wolves will take on Brescia on April 14 in their next match.
