Tennis: Red Wolves Finish Regular Season

OWENSBORO, Ky. - The Indiana University East tennis teams finished the regular season at Brescia University on Sunday, April 19.

Brescia won the men's contest 5-2 with the Bearcats taking the women's match 6-1.

IU East's men are now 7-14, and 2-3 in the River States Conference. On the women's side, the Red Wolves are 6-14, 2-4.

Andrea Klaric and Sachin Vanaraja won at No. 1 doubles for the Red Wolves in the men's affair. Vanaraja (No.1) and Klaric (No. 2) also won in singles action.

Chantelle Mapondera picked up IU East's point for the women by winning at No. 5 singles.

The Red Wolves will travel to Evansville for the RSC Championships on April 23-25. The men's team faces IU Southeast in the opening round on Thursday, while the women will meet Brescia the same day.
