Track & Field: RSC Championships Day 2 Recap
RIO GRANDE, Ohio - Ty'Shaun Williams headlined the final day of the River States Conference Championships for the Indiana University East track and field teams on Saturday, April 29.
Williams won the Discus with a distance of 46.90 meters, while adding a third-place finish in the Shot Put with a toss of 14.22 meters.
Overall, the IU East men were third of the 11 teams in the two-day event, while the women's squad was eighth out of 11.
The Red Wolves also had and relay team and three other individuals earn all-conference honors by finishing in the top three spots in an event.
AJ Ludwig, Chance Klipstine, DeAndre Hall and Rex Kirchenstein finished the day with a time of 3:29.81 as the group finished third in the 1,600-Meter Relay.
Individually, Mylan Nocton was second in the 5000 Meters with a time of 15:16.97. Chance Klipstine ran a 1:54.49 to finish second in the 800 Meters. Teagen Rodriguez posted a time of 4:04.36 as he was third in the 1,500 meters.

The IU East women had a pair of relay squads score.
The 400-Meter Relay team of Brooke Sudhoff, Temple, Kaleah Louden, Reanna Stinson was fifth with a time of 54.98. In the 1,600-Meter Relay, the group of Temple, Hannah Best, Sarah Kwiatkowski, Anna Johnston was eighth with a 4:30.69.
Temple and Alex Bertsch were named the IU East Champions of Character during the awards ceremony.
