Men's Track and Field: NAIA Championship Preview
RICHMOND, Ind. – Three members of the IU East men's track and field team will be competing in the NAIA Championships tomorrow through Friday at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Rex Kirchenstein will be participating in the Men's Decathalon. He kicks off his events at 10 a.m. on Wednesday starting with the 100m, followed by the long jump, shot put, high jump, and 400m. He will conclude his decathalon on Thursday at 11 a.m. finishing with the 110m hurdles, discus, pole vault, javelin, and 1,500m.
Cameron Nocton qualified for the 5,000m Race-Walk that will begin at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
And lastly, Ty'Shaun Williams qualified for two events, the shot put and discus. Ty'Shaun will compete in the discus at 5 p.m. on Thursday and the shot put on Friday at 3 p.m.
