Men's Volleyball: SMWC 3, IU East 1

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's volleyball team dropped a 25-11, 30-28, 19-25, 25-17 decision to St. Mary-of-the-Woods College on Tuesday, March 17.

After the River States Conference match on Lingle Court, IU East is now 5-7 overall and 3-5 in the league. Winners of six in a row, SMWC is 22-4 and 4-3.

Arthur Barreto topped the Red Wolves with 16 kills, while Vinicius Lopes added 15 with Wyatt King finishing with 12.

Braydon Richardson paced the IU East attack with 34 assists as Olwin Corrales contributed 12.

Defensively, Lopes ended with 13 digs as Francis Rivera Agosto had 11. King and Judah Davis both had a pair of blocks.

Next up for IU East is a weekend trip for two RSC affairs. The Red Wolves face Oakland City University on Friday, March 20. On Saturday, IU East visits Brescia University.
