Men's Volleyball: Oakland City 3, IU East 0

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's volleyball team opened the weekend at home with a 25-18, 25-13, 25-20 loss to Oakland City University on Friday, April 10.

IU East is now 6-13 overall and 4-11 in the River States Conference, while Oakland City is 18-9 and 9-6.

Arthur Barreto led the Red Wolves with 10 kills as Vinicius Lopes finished with nine. Gideon Nelson added seven kills and Wyatt King contributed six.

Brayden Richardson topped IU East with 16 assists as Olwin Corrales added 14.

Defensively for the Red Wolves, Francis Rivera Agosto had seven digs as Nelson had a pair of blocks.

The Red Wolves finish the regular season against league foe Brescia University on Saturday, April 11. The Senior Day match on Lingle Court gets underway at 2 p.m.

Barreto, Rivera Agosto and Lopes will be honored 20 minutes before the contest begins.
