Women's Basketball: Midway 89, IU East 67

MIDWAY, Ky. - The Indiana University East women's basketball team dropped an 89-67 River States Conference contest at Midway University on Tuesday, Jan. 6.

IU East is now 10-12 overall and 6-5 in the conference. With eight wins a row, Midway is 17-5 and 8-2.

Maggie Anderson topped the Red Wolves with 14 points in Marshall Gymnasium, while Abbie Lucas added 13 points.

Taylor Farris picked up 12 points to go with team-high totals of eight rebounds and five assists.

Next up for the Red Wolves is a visit to St. Mary-of-the-Woods College on Saturday, Feb. 7. The RSC affair gets underway at 1 p.m.
