Women's Basketball: IU Northwest at IU East Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's basketball team looks for its third win in a row as IU Northwest visits Lingle Court on Monday, Dec. 29.

The matchup with the RedHawks starts at 2 p.m.

IU East is 4-7 after a 70-68 victory over IU South Bend 70-68 on Saturday, Dec. 20.

The Red Wolves won 88-74 at Kentucky Christian University to begin their winning streak two weeks ago.

A member of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference, the RedHawks are 3-10 and 2-4. IU Northwest downed league foe Calumet College of St. Joseph 64-58 on the road last weekend.

* This is the second meeting between the Red Wolves and RedHawks. IU Northwest won 64-62 last season in Gary as Taylor Farris topped IU East with 28 points. Abbie Lucas tossed in 11 with Trinity Archey finishing with 10.

* Farris led IU East with 32 points as she hit the game-winning basket versus IU South Bend.

* Peyton Wells had 15 points against IU South Bend with Maggie Anderson adding nine points.

* De'Mour Watson led IU Northwest with 19 points and 12 rebounds in the win over Calumet College of St. Joseph.
