Women's Golf: NAIA National Championships preview

RICHMOND, Ind. – The Indiana University East women's golf team returns to the NAIA National Championships for the second year in a row.

 

The Red Wolves won the RSC Tournament by three strokes over Midway in April.

 

The 2023 championship is at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. Starting on May 23rd. Jalyn Bruns will tee off at 2:50 p.m. on hole 10. Katie Craig is after on hole 10 at 3 p.m. Annie Gillock (3:10 p.m.) and Brooklynn Cromwell (3:20 p.m.) follow Craig. On Wednesday, the Red Wolves will tee off at 8:40 a.m. on hole 10. Liv Sanders is the alternate for IU East and will tee off at 2:40 p.m.

 

On the 24th, the Red Wolves will start on hole 1, teeing off at 8:50 a.m.

 

Live stats will be provided for the event. After two full rounds have been completed, the field will be cut. Tournament format dictates team scores 1-17 will move forward to play the final 36 holes this week. Individuals must be inside the Top 40 to continue through the final two rounds of the championship. The 156-player field features 30 teams and seven individual qualifiers.
