Women's Golf: RSC Fall Preview Day 2 Recap
DANIELS, W.Va. - The Indiana University East women's golf team finished third in the River States Conference Fall Preview on Tuesday, Sept. 26.
Midway University won the two-day event at the Glade Springs Resort with a 329-334-663, while St. Mary-of-the-Woods College was second with 342-341-683.
The Red Wolves finished with 341-347-688 in the nine-team affair.
Playing as an individual, Lainey Jackson led IU East with an 83.
"My driver was my best today, which was good because I hit a lot of fairways," Jackson said. "My bunker game could have been better. As a team we lost some shots, but it was good experience on the course. Now we are going to be ready for the spring at that course."
Brooklynn Cromwell led the Red Wolves with an 82-86-168 for the tournament. The other IU East scores were Liv Sanders 83-87-170, Josalyn Lewis 86-89-175, Sophia Curry 90-86-176 and Katie Craig 92-88-180.
IU East's final event of the fall is the Red Wolves Invitational at the Delaware Country Club in Muncie on Oct. 13-14.
