Women's Golf Adds Emmy Followell for the 26-27 Season

RICHMOND, Ind. – Indiana University East women's golf coach Billy Mullin has announced the signing of Emmy Followell on Thursday.

"I'm excited that Emmy is joining the pack!", coach Mullin said. "She has really improved over the course of her high school career. I like that she is multi-sport athlete, and her best golf is still out in front of her."

Followell will join the Red Wolves for the 2026-27 season where she was a standout student-athlete at Seymour High School. She was named 2025 All-County Player of the Year and HHC All-Conference Honorable mention. She also earned regional qualifier three times.

"I chose IU East because of the great business program and the great golf program," Followell said.

She plans on studying marketing and communication.
