Women's Golf: IU East at Forest Hills Invitational

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's golf team is set to host the Forest Hills Invitational on April 24-25.

Friday's action gets underway at the Forest Hills Country Club as Ashlynne Osborn is IU East's first player to tee off at 9 a.m. The other tee times for the Red Wolves are Sophia Curry (9:10 a.m.), Jalyn Bruns (9:20 a.m.), Maddie Campbell (9:30 a.m.), Peityn Gillman (9:40 a.m.), Reagan Brewer (9:50 a.m.), Lainey Jackson (10 a.m.) and Lauren Lacey (10:10 a.m.). Saturday will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

Along with the Red Wolves, the other River States Conference schools competing are IU Kokomo and St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. Earlham College is also part of the event.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

* This is the final home event for seniors Bruns, Curry and Osborne.

* The Red Wolves finished second in this event last year as SMWC won by just a stroke. Curry led IU East as she was third to make the all-tournament team. 

* IU East won the IU Kokomo Spring Shootout last weekend as Campbell and Gillman made the all-tournament team.

* Next up for the Red Wolves will play in the RSC Championships in West Virginia at The Resort at Glade Springs on May 3-5.
