Women's Golf: RSC Championships Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's golf team heads to West Virginia as the Red Wolves are set to compete in the River States Conference Championships on May 3-5.

The 54-hole event is at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels.

Tee times IU East's opening round on Sunday are Lainey Jackson (11:40 a.m.), Sophia Curry (11:50 p.m.), Jalyn Bruns (noon), Maddie Campbell (12:10 p.m.) and Peityn Gillman (12:20 p.m.) with Ashlynne Osborne serving as the alternate.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

* Bruns was the RSC medalist last year as the Red Wolves finished second after winning the title in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

* IU East's other conference medalists are Breanna Nowak (2016, 2018, 2019), Jo Wisecup (2021) and Brooklynn Cromwell (2024).

* The Red Wolves are coming off a victory at the Forest Hills Invitational last weekend.

* Campbell was the medalist, while Curry, Bruns and Jackson were on the all-tournament team.

* Results from the RSC Fall Preview are part of the selection process for the league's all-conference team and player of the year.
