EATON, Ohio - The Indiana University East women's soccer won its second straight with a 3-0 victory over WVU Tech at Eaton High School on Saturday, Oct. 7.
The Red Wolves are now 2-6-5 overall and 2-1-3 in the River States Conference, while the Golden Bears are 3-8-1, 2-3-0.
With all three goals in the first half the Red Wolves were in command for most of the match.
Maggie Bischoff put IU East on the scoreboard at the 15:52 mark with an unassisted goal, which was her eighth of the season.
At 27:15, Katherine Lopez Cruz scored for the first time this season with an assist from Sophie Pohlabel as the Red Wolves built a 2-0 advantage.
Pohlabel capped the contest with her second goal of the season at 34:15.
Goalkeeper Kylie O'Leary had six saves for the Red Wolves.
IU East returns to action next weekend against conference foe Brescia University in Eaton at 1 p.m.
