Women's Soccer: IU East 3, Rio Grande 3

RIO GRANDE, Ohio - The Indiana University women's soccer team came away with its fourth draw of the season as the Red Wolves tied 3-3 at the University of Rio Grande on Saturday, Sept. 23.

The Red Wolves are now 0-5-4 overall and 0-0-2 in the River States Conference. Rio Grande is 0-4-3, 0-0-2.

The match was even at 1-1 after the first period. The Red Storm grabbed a 2-1 advantage before the Red Wolves picked up two scores to take the lead. Rio Grande added the last tally in the final moments of the contest.

Denise Davalos had the initial score for IU East with an assist from Maggie Bischoff in the first half.

Bischoff had an unassisted goal before helping Morgan Grudich on IU East's final score. Bischoff has six goals on the season.

Goalkeeper Kylie O'Leary had seven saves for the Red Wolves.

IU East returns to action at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College on Thursday, Sept. 28. The RSC contest begins at 1 p.m.
