Women's Soccer: IU East 5, IUPUC 0

EATON, Ohio - Maggie Bischoff set a school record on Senior Day as the IU East women's soccer team won 5-0 over IUPUC on Saturday, Oct. 21.

Prior to the River States Conference affair, seniors Jordan Miller and Sophie Pohlabel were honored for their time with the Red Wolves.

Winners of five in a row, IU East is 5-6-5 overall and 5-1-3 in the conference. IUPUC is 2-10-0, 1-7-0.

Bischoff scored three times to tie the IU East mark for goals in a match, but she added an assist to pick up a record seven points.

In the first half, Bischoff had the only goal of the period at 16:26 with Rylee Meyer assisting on the play.

Amyah Thacker started a run of three goals in five minutes for the Red Wolves as she found the back of the net with an assist from Bischoff at 74:11.

Bischoff scored on a corner kick for her second goal of the contest at 76:34. Denise Davalos added the next goal with an assist from Pohlabel at 79:03.

The record-breaking score for Bischoff was at 89:21 as Katherine Lopez Cruz was credited with an assist.

Other IU East players to score three times in a match are Dejhanna O'Bryant (2017), Olivia Malott (2018), Kimberly Trapp (2020, 2021) and Shelby O'Leary (2021).

Next up for IU East is the regular season finale at RSC foe Midway University on Saturday, Oct. 28. The contest gets underway at 1 p.m.
