EATON, Ohio - The Indiana University East women's soccer team had its season come to an end with a 2-0 loss to Shawnee State University in the quarterfinals of the River States Conference Championships on Saturday, Nov. 4.
The No. 4 Red Wolves finish with an overall mark of 5-7-6, while No. 5 Shawnee State is 8-9-1 as the Bears advance to the semifinals with a visit to No. 1 IU Kokomo on Wednesday, Nov. 8.
Shawnee State scored both goals in the opening period at Eaton (Ohio) High School with a 14-6 advantage in shots for the contest.
IU East goalkeeper Kylie O'Leary had seven saves for the Red Wolves.
