Outdoor Track: IU East at Bill Kincaid Track & Field Invitational Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East track and field teams head to Wilmington College for the second time this season as the Red Wolves compete in the Bill Kincaid Track & Field Invitational on Saturday, April 25.

The women's javelin and men's discus begin the activity in the Beckett Track & Field Facility in Williams Stadium at 10:30 a.m. The 3,000-meter steeplechase is the initial race on the track at 10:45 a.m. The other field events start at 11 a.m., while the next races on the track are the 400-meter relays at 1 p.m.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

* Chloe Scales was named the RSC Women's Track Athlete of the Week as she won the 10,000-meter run with a school record time of 39:35.27 at the Indiana Little States Championships last weekend.

* This is the final meet before the Red Wolves travel to the River States Conference Outdoor Championships at the University of Rio Grande on May 1-2.

* The NAIA National Outdoor Championships are scheduled for May 20-22 in Ashville, N.C.
