Red Wolves Win 14th Straight Match
RICHMOND, Ind. - There was plenty to howl about as the Indiana University East volleyball team celebrated Halloween Night with a 25-27, 25-14, 25-15, 26-24 victory over WVU Tech on Lingle Court.
After a sluggish opening set, the Red Wolves responded with their 14th win in a row on Friday, Oct. 27.
"They're a completely new team from the last time we saw them," said Reece Shirley, who is the current River States Conference Setter of the Week. "They've improved a lot and changed some things."
"In the first set, we lost it for ourselves," Shirley continued. "We had a lot of errors and we're playing up to our standards. We just had to regroup and focus on ourselves."
