Women's Volleyball: IU East 3, Rio Grande 0

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's volleyball team picked up a 25-20, 25-21, 25-14 victory over the University of Rio Grande on Friday, Oct. 24.

With the River States Conference win on Lingle Court, IU East is now 14-16 and 7-5 in the East Division. Rio Grande is 20-10 and 8-4 in the East.

Noema Philistin-Lynch led IU East with 15 kills, while Aislyn Hogan was next with eight kills as she paced the offense with 34 assists.

Amyra Lockett, Payton Schultheis and Brooklyn Taylor each contributed six kills.

Lockett finished with three blocks with Ella Bickel leading the way with  18 digs. Abby Herman added six digs.

The Red Wolves return to Lingle Court on Saturday against WVU Tech at 1 p.m.
