Women's Volleyball: IU East 3, Midway 0
MIDWAY, Ky. – The IU East women’s volleyball team extended their win-streak to five games as they took care of Midway on Tuesday in straight sets (25-19, 25-13, 25-21).
With the win, the Red Wolves improve to an even 16-16 on the season but a 9-5 RSC mark.
Payton Schultheis led with 10 kills while Aislyn Hogan had 29 assists.
Ella Bickel collected 19 digs as she inches closer to history. With her 19 digs on Tuesday, she now sits at 2,300 digs in her IU East career, which is 72 digs short from breaking the record from Kristin Waechter, who had 2,372 from 2009-12.
The Red Wolves have a long layoff before their next game. They will travel to Shawnee State on Nov. 7 before ending the regular season at home against Kentucky Christian on Nov. 8.
