Women's Volleyball: IU East at IU Southeast RSC Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East volleyball team heads to IU Southeast as the Red Wolves and Grenadiers square off in a quarterfinal match of the River States Conference Championships on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

The opening round contest in The Activities Building gets underway at 7 p.m.

IU East was the RSC East Division champ but will be the No. 5 seed in the tournament with a record of 18-16 overall and 11-5 in the league.

The Grenadiers are the fourth seed as they finished third in the RSC West at 18-7 and 11-5.

* IU Southeast defeated the Red Wolves 25-15, 25-15, 25-23 on Lingle Court during the regular season.

* The Red Wolves have won seven straight as the beat Kentucky Christian University 25-23, 25-13, 25-16 on Saturday, Nov. 8.

* Ella Bickel needs 17 digs to become IU East's all-time leader to surpass Kristin Waechter's total of 2,372 from 2009-12.

* The Grenadiers are coming off a 30-32, 25-15, 25-22, 25-23 win at home over St. Mary-of-the-Woods last weekend.
