Women's Cross Country: Louisville Cross Country Classic Recap

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Indiana University East women's cross country team participated in the 24th Annual Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic on Saturday, Oct. 4.

IU East had runners in two races in the meet that had 110 schools. The Red Wolves finished 22nd  in the Women's Blue 6K and ended the day 11th in the Women's Silver 5K.

Emily Fleming had the top 6K time for the Red Wolves with a 23:12.6 at the E. P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park. In the 5K race, M Kahn had IU East's best performance with a 20:59.5.            

The Red Wolves return to action at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge on Oct. 25 in Grand Rapids, Mich.
