Women's Cross Country: IU East Will Have Three Runners in NAIA National Championships

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's cross country team will be represented by three runners at the NAIA National Championships on Friday, Nov. 21.

Emily Fleming, Kayci Hill and Chloe Scales at the Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida.

The women's 6K race gets underway at 8:30 a.m. The men follow at 9:30 a.m. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m.

Fleming led IU East with a time of 22:59.49 finishing sixth in the 2025 River States Conference Championships on Saturday, Nov. 8.

Hill was seventh in 23:16.05 as she and Fleming were on the All-RSC First Team.

Scales was eighth to earn a spot in the All-RSC Second Team with a 23:25.77.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

* IU East finished 29th out of 35 teams last season as the Red Wolves competed as a team.

* Scales was 181st out of 327 runners with a time of 23:25.7.

* Fleming posted a time of 23:38.6 to finish 199th.

* This is Hill's first appearance at the national meet.
