Women's Cross Country: NAIA National Championships Recap
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Chloe Scales led the three runners from the Indiana University East women's cross country team as she finished 60th at the NAIA National Championships on Friday, Nov. 21.
Scales posted a career-best time of 22:24.5 in the 6K race to cross the line with the second highest individual finish in IU East history at the national meet. Cassandra Schrubb was 58th in Missouri last season (22:16.8).
Emily Fleming and Kayci Hill also competed for the Red Wolves on Friday at the Apalachee Regional Park as the duo also ran personal best times.
Fleming was 80th out of 333 runners with a 22:41.9, while Hill finished at 101st in 22:53.6.
Taylor University captured the team title as the Trojans were led by Jaynie Halterman, who was the individual champion for the second year in a row with a time of 20:13.2.
